Perfect trip. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. A big thank you to Sammy and Millie for all you do. You two are god-sent angels. I am really missing all those babies tonight :( Hug them for me.
Thank you everyone, for all the emails and all of the support. I wish everyone was able to experience what I just experienced. I am so humbled. Many would die to be in my shoes, in our shoes. Hug your children today. Tell your family you love them often. Count your blessings, and don't forget to bless others along the way :)

This place is beautiful. Beautiful people. Beautiful land. Beautiful culture. You don't get views like this back in Chicago land...

Well guys, we are now in Kenya with Sarah, Laura, and Kurvin. At this moment we are at a nice hotel, but all day we have been at a villiage in Kenya. If you can help our project here in the near future that would be great! Also, maybe sometime in the near future you all will get to meet our dear friend, Sammy Nawali. I hope I get to come to Chicago and see you all soon!

Thanks to the overwhelming support of so many people, we have been able to send volunteers, clothing, toys, and so much more to the people in Kenya. We are so grateful to our friends at Phoenix Community Care for making this trip possible, and are so excited to be teaming up with them to work in Kenya. It is amazing that even during some of the toughest times, where the economy is at such a low point and jobs are so scarce, that people still give so much of their hard earned money to help complete strangers. With that said, since it is not only the ones actually traveling to Kenya who are helping, but each and every person who gave, we thought you all deserved to see what you contributed to. Thank you for giving. Thank you for helping. Thank you for changing lives. We hope you enjoy these pictures and updates from the trip!
